Savannah Forbus-Murray was a local High School theatre teacher for over 8 years with great success and now works as the assistant box office manager and front of house manager at the historic Sunrise Theatre.
Having helped establish many educational theatre programs previous to teaching, it is safe to say, educational theatre is her passion.
Previously Savannah obtained her Bachelor's degree in Theatre with a specialization in Technical Theatre. She has worked in numerous theatres in the community and state as a lighting designer, artistic director, acting teacher, choreographer, carpenter, and youth theatre curriculum developer.
Savannah’s number one goal is to bring inclusive, diverse, and impressive theatre to the youth of St. Lucie County in an accessible setting. 'The MOST important aspect of theatre, is to create a space that is safe, positive and encouraging for students of every background.'
