Nicole is very eager to be apart of the StageFright team. She started her dance training at 5 years old with a Ballet/Tap combo class then proceeded to take other styles and has learned to love each one for their different artistic beauties. Nicole has attended multiple dance studios on the treasure coast during her adolescent years and graduated from Port St Lucie High School where she also was apart of the Dance and Drama departments.
Shortly after graduation, she began her training at Indian River State College. Here she trained in Modern, Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and Choreography. This is where she was able to learn the techniques of Martha Graham and Luigi. Nicole is the current Choreographer for IRSC’s Show Choir and Assistant Directs their annual Summer Musical Revues. Still working towards her A.A in Musical Theatre, she has been able to gain knowledge in all parts of the theatre including but not limited to Acting, Stage Combat, Stage Makeup, Set Building, and Set Design. She also has vocal training both in Musical Theatre and Opera. Using all parts of her training she has become a “Triple-Threat” and has performed in countless musicals, plays, musical reviews, dance showcases, and vocal concerts.
Some of her favorite roles have been Amneris (AIDA), Fastrada (PIPPIN), and Pilar (LEGALLY BLONDE). Nicole has also been very active in the community ever since she was in high school. She has volunteered and taught the art of Theatre to multiple elementary schools in St. Lucie County and would choreograph Southport Middle School’s musicals each year. On top of that, she has been teaching Adult Classes throughout the treasure coast to share her love for dance to others. She looks forward to being able to be a loving and positive mentor for young people as sometimes that’s all that they need. Using Dance and Theatre, she is able to share these alternate worlds to connect with her students and show them how to express themselves in a safe place. Ms.Nikki is looking forward to meeting and helping her students in becoming a better performer.
